Blackberry Honey sequel, Bittersweet Blossoms, is now finished!
Hello everyone! This is ebi! I've written a few yuri visual novels in the past, including It gets so lonely here and Blackberry Honey!
I don't think I've mentioned this on this Subreddit before, but I've been working on a sequel to Blackberry Honey, Bittersweet Blossoms, for the last 5 years or so (it's been a while hahaha......)
Getting this project across the finish line too a bit of doing, but I'm proud to announce that the VN is finally finished! Yay!
It's quite an odd sequel as far as sequels go, since it's set 50+ years after Blackberry Honey and only one member of the old cast returns, but I think it wraps up some plot threads which were left dangling at the end of BH nicely. This is yet another historical romance with cute maids, this time set shortly after WWI, which features a ~forbidden~ romance between a young maid and her mistress.
I'm also very fond of the contrary young mistress, Patience, as a character. She might be one of my favourite love interests across all of my yuri visual novels I've written. I hope other people will like her too!
The VN is finished, and it has been approved for release by Steam, but I'm going to hold off on releasing it until next month since I literally just released a commercial yuri VN a couple of weeks ago (+ I kind of want to get the wishlist numbers for this VN up a bit haha)
But! Since the VN is fully finished, I figured I'd share early access Steam keys for the VN on my Patreon for my $15 tier backers. The Patreon post can be found here.
Regardless of whether you pledge or not, the VN should be coming out in June (I'm thinking the 26th), and I hope you're looking forward to it!
And I need to get better at marketing my own VNs haha, I bet a lot of people didn't even know this existed because I didn't really talk about it... Well, hopefully you all know now hahaha
