This is going to be a long shot, but anyone know that stall at the market in jackson square that had spicy italian olives(circ 1987)?

When my mum was "with me" (1987) she would consume volumes of them. and cursed me with a taste for them. I might have actually consumed the real thing once or twice but i'd like to think i still accurately know what im looking for.

I live in the states now and know that stall is long gone, but maybe someone? anyone? knows who ran it or has a clue on how to make those olives.
