A Question about Daisy

So I started re-watching the animated series and I am not a big fan but I've never hated it. I thought about something. Something that I had never really thought about before when I originally watched it and kind of thought about it since I've seen it a couple times afterwards.

Wow is very obvious Daisy in the original Static comic book is African-American.

Is she supposed to be Latina or afro-latina and the cartoon adaptation? Yes at first I thought she was a light-skinned black girl but to be very honest more and more when I look at her hair texture and her features she seems more Latin or afro Latin to me.

And this will make sense considering the majority of the original characters from the comics especially those that are Latino are not represented in the cartoon there are other friends that do not get any mentioned at all and may just be used as background characters in the cartoon.

Is this specialty suited for males?

In about 3 months, I will be graduating as an LPN from a program in downtown Chicago illinois. I have worked in hospitals and overall medical setting for several years. Some of that time was spent working with special needs children, preteen, teenagers and even young adults at a special needs school in the suburbs.

Here's my thing I noticed that I seem to have a good rapport with working with children and even babies.

So I'm considering heavily L&D or Neonatal ICU.

But as a man, a rather tall man. Is it logical for me to consider a career in neonatal or L&D?

I've heard a lot of rumors and stereotypes about men and even men of color not really having a place in those particular specialties. I think I would be a great nurse regardless of where I go as I've also found that I enjoy ICU and telemetry. But it was a surprised to find that I'm actually good with working and taking care of babies and children and dealing with the medical issues.

( A lot of the young students at the school and in the hospital that I worked have had major issues so it's not just their physical or mental disabilities).

13 and 15 an observation

13 and 15:

13 had to grow on me if I'm being honest. But I did like a lot of the conversation about her transition from being a male for countless centuries to a female and to just finding what that rhythm means in this new body.

I honestly think she was clever in a way and even whimsical. Very reminiscent of Matt Smith

With 15 I think people forget that he was supposed to have been post PTSD he was supposed to have been the what happens to the Doctor when 14 did the work which is actually debatable.

If you look at some of the episodes in series 2 particularly in Interstellar song contest. I think the reason why he was so happy or so sensitive and caring was because he had finally did the work I think the specially with the new generation of whovians. I really believe you guys have become conditioned or prone to accept that the Doctor will always be tortured.

And if you really watched a lot of classic who you would know that the doctor is not as tortured as this new iteration suggests. Granted since 2005 it has shown him to be this angry, lonely and bitter person running around in a tiny little box.

Now again, I am talking before the Time War.

This particular Doctor is a product of what happens when 14 does the work, to heal and is in a better place and I think a lot of people either didn't want to see that or didn't pay attention to that. That's really the biggest critique that I hear about 15.

When did this happen?

I just want to know when the day decide to whitewash Miss Martian she was always green and yes possibly with Caucasian as features so is she Caucasian or is she just finally accepting her white Martian look I haven't read anything with her and I'm very long time so I'm seriously asking this I'm not trying to start any kind of clickbait or whatever

Can we have an honest discussion about the treatment of 15? And possibly 13 and why they are regarded by so many and such negative ways in the fandom

The picture comes from a post about the current tolerance of members of the community. So I'm asking we all have our likes and dislikes but what about 15 is so problematic is it his race is sexuality I honestly want to know.

What can be done to ensure the fandom, does not become what this means suggests?

It's really sad because that bottom right comment actually mirrors the current fandom of Doctor Who whether they admitted or not

There seems to be a lot truth here.

Serious Thoughts on This Subject

I think most would consider 15's choice to save Poppi heroic. But was it psychologically telling?

Remember 15 is a survivor of post traumatic stress disorder. But could he have found any other way to save Poppi without doing what is essentially suicide?

My psych professor presented this theory to us today. Is 15's sacrifice really suicide or is it just a hero ending?🤔

Critical thinking and scheduling advice

I hear quite often that critical thinking and scheduling structure are paramount to nursing. How best should I prepare myself for the program start by end of the year. Can anyone give me any tips on how to better prepare myself mentally for critical thinking and scheduling needed. I've been out of school for a few years. I am 51 years old and I am a little nervous about going back for my LPN. Once I complete my LPN I will continue on to my RN but I figure I would start with that and go from there.
