I would love to be able to import a font file into my project

I currently use the common workaround of creating my text in inkscape and saving as a dxf file then importing into my workspace. It would be really wonderful if I could just import the font file and use it with the text tool.

Anyone know if that is possible, or if I could suggest it as a future feature?

Trying to crack the Etsy package algorithm for multiple items.

Many of the things I sell package up neatly in a 9x7 padded mailer. There are different versions that alter the weight slightly, but they are light products, just a few ounces. I list my package dimensions in my listing as 9x7x2 and when someone buys just a single item, the shipping charge is spot on. However, when a customer purchases multiple items, Etsy's algorithm to calculate the combined shipping cost gets inflated, especially if they are buying more than just a couple things. If the overage is negligible, I just ignore it because the buyer was happy to pay the cost, but recently I've had to refund as much as $20+ on shipping overages (it was ~$8 actual cost) because I can combine the items into a parcel much smaller than Etsy thinks I can.

Other than just doing refunds for shipping overcharges, is there a better way? The example above is a little extreme, because the customer purchased 20 items, but Etsy thought I needed 3 separate large boxes. I packed everything into a medium sized box and saved them a bundle on shipping, but it is getting a little annoying because it feels like it is happening more frequently as of late.

My current theory is that the items are often smaller than the 9x7 mailer, but Etsy is assuming the actual item is 9x7x2. Should I be inputting the actual size of just the item instead of the package I ship it in? Some of the items are smaller than what USPS allows for a parcel.

Suggestions?

Customer asked me to recreate an item currently funding on Kickstarter, how do handle the decline?

I am not going to risk getting a takedown against my shop for duplicating an original design that likely is properly copyrighted. How should I phrase my decline to copy another designers work?

Given what happened with the bars of the fungeon when Felix hit them, Vanellope would not have won Sugar Rush if Ralph did not first smash her kart, because then Felix fixed it with his magic hammer thus making it the perfect kart.

Should i create a new listing or update for minor changes?

I sell 3d printed tools for artists. I recently have made a minor adjustment to the models in a product line, basically I made it stay closed more securely. The core features stayed exactly the same. Should I make new listings for the variation and have a parallel line with 0 traction, or update the existing line up for the newer version?

Does changing order progress state generate customer-facing information?

At this point I'm 452 sales in and am curious about whether the customer is notified of the order process states. Does it send the customer an email when i push the order from one state to the next? Or is it purely for my internal tracking?
