What’s your most underrated Amazon Ads hack?

What’s your most underrated Amazon Ads hack?

One simple Amazon Ads strategy that keeps working for me is using very low bids across a large number of targets.

I usually take Amazon’s recommendations and add a mix of exact, phrase and broad keywords, product targets and categories.

I keep the bids under $0.10 and let the campaign run in the background.

Every month or two, I check for new suggestions and add more targets.

It’s not a campaign that brings massive sales, but it generates consistent orders with a very low ACOS and almost no ongoing management.

Has anyone found a similar low-maintenance Amazon Ads strategy that works consistently?

Here an example of it

What’s your best Amazon Ads “hack” that actually works?

One of the simplest strategies I use is a manual campaign called LAZY_PPC.

I add around 200 targeting suggestions from Amazon Ads, including exact, phrase and broad keywords, product targeting, and category targeting.

Then I set very low bids, usually below $0.10 (0,10€), and leave the campaign running.

The only thing I do is add new targets every one or two months when Amazon gives me more recommendations.

It doesn’t generate huge volume, but it keeps bringing in sales almost on autopilot with a ridiculously low ACOS.

It’s one of those small campaigns that doesn’t need much attention but keeps working in the background.

Do you have any similar Amazon Ads strategies or “hacks” that have worked well for you?

How are you using Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display?

I’ve always put most of my attention into Sponsored Products when working on Amazon Ads.

That’s where I feel most comfortable, and where the majority of my budget usually goes. Because of that, I think I’ve neglected Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display more than I should.

I’ve launched some campaigns with both formats, but nothing especially creative or advanced. I’d like to explore different ways of using them and understand where other sellers are actually getting good results.

If SB or SD are an important part of your advertising strategy, how are you using them?

I’d be interested to hear about any targeting ideas, campaign structures or creative approaches that have worked well for you.

Does anyone have good strategies for Sponsored Brands or Sponsored Display?

Most of the time, I’m heavily focused on Sponsored Products when managing my Amazon Ads.

They’re the campaigns I know best, and where I usually spend most of my time and budget. But I feel like I’m probably underusing Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, especially when it comes to more creative or different strategies.

I’ve used both before, but usually in a fairly basic way. I’d like to start testing them more seriously instead of treating them as secondary campaigns.

For those of you who regularly use Sponsored Brands or Sponsored Display, what has worked best for you?

Any specific campaign structure, targeting strategy or creative approach you would recommend trying?

Is anyone else struggling with Amazon Ads before Prime Day?

Today my ad spend has increased a lot, while conversions have dropped significantly. I know Friday is usually not our strongest day, but the gap between traffic, clicks and sales is much bigger than normal.

Amazon has been heavily promoting next week’s Prime Day deals, so I’m wondering if customers are clicking, adding products to their carts and waiting to see whether prices drop.

I’ve paused a few campaigns for now to save budget and push harder next week during Prime Day.

Is anyone else dealing with this? Any recommendations on how you’re managing your Amazon Ads in the days leading up to Prime Day?

Visual for my post :)

Amazon Prime Day: from June 23 to 26

Prime Day has just been announced, so question for those of you who have been selling on Amazon for a while: what is your best Amazon Ads tip for PPC during these days? CPC usually goes up a lot, but last year what worked best for me was launching some really weird campaigns with super long search terms and very low bids. I have also seen sellers completely turn PPC off and let the discount do the work, while others use Prime Day mainly to clear stock. What do you usually do with your PPC during Prime Day?
