Heya guys!

I am looking to field a deathwatch army tonight at my lgs for colosseum after work!

It's 2 rounds of 1:30 h for a round.

I looked up what you guys recommended and to my surprise I found that the list

Lieutenant in PA (55)
DW Terminator Squad (190)
Indomitor KT (265)
= 510p

Is not viable anymore.
So I thought I swap the LPA for a Bladeguard Ancient since that's the only character for 45p that could fit.

Should I field that or rethink the whole list?
And to my DW sisters/brothers out there: how do I command this list? Should I make use of the teleport beacon that comes with the terminator squad?

I am fairly new to 40k in general. I’ve played a few smaller games (Colosseum) and a total of two games at the Strike Force level.

My LGS is hosting a Strike Force event this Saturday, and since I work there, I am actually the one hosting and running it. The event management side of things is no problem at all, but there is a big maybe: I might need to step in and participate as the "ringer" to ensure we have an even player count.

I’ve played my two Strike Force games using the actual tournament terrain layouts, so I at least know what the boards will look like. My first game was basically a loss by turn one against a Tyranid Monster Mash list, but I managed to secure a win in my second game against CSM!

Obviously, two games don't make me an expert, but they did give me a small taste of how to act and what to expect on the tabletop.

Since I might be jumping into the deep end this weekend, I would love to hear your thoughts:

• List adjustments: What would you change within my current list?

• Strategy: How would you pilot this list? What should my general game plan be?

• Tips & Tricks: Do you have any specific stratagem combos or synergies I should look out for?

• Matchups: What do I absolutely need to keep in mind against certain popular factions?

I am still waiting for the death guard combat patrol in order to get the rino, a second unit of death shrouds, tallyman and more marines to get a 10x unit.

Heya guys, I am joining the Deathwatch ordered the Armageddon Battalion. Whilst I was talking to a friend it dawned on me: 11th edition means 1 Strat per phase does it?

Like, is it 1 Strat for one army per phase or one in total?
