My son thought it may be a metal. If it is, it's not magnetic.

Doesn't remember where he found it.
We live in the PNW, but it could've come from anywhere.

We want to try to split it open, but we don't want to until we know a little more first.

New bearings, but when i spin them free, they're quiet like mouses.
New wheels, but that can't be it right? The trucks and the wheels are tightened in the same way that they have been before and I've never heard anything like this.
