Just got my MMC, and want to work with Washington State Ferries, or the Kitsap ferry. My brother currently works for WSF but says he doesn’t have any insight as to when they will hire. Anyone know when either of these ferries will be hiring and how I can apply? Thanks!
I was seeking my original MMC. I originally applied in may, and waited was told I need to correct my address and reapply. I reapplied June 1. I was told it was taking 8-12 months by their support staff, then was told 8 months a couple weeks later. Today I got the email it was approved and mailed, almost 2 months to the day after applying, not 8 or 12. The real timeline is likely way more optimistic than what they are saying.
Hello, I submitted all documents for my medical and credential last month. The medical was issued soon after with no hiccups, but I hadn’t heard anything about the credential. I just got off the phone with the Maritime center, and they said their timeline to go from received to issued is currently 8-12 months. Is this accurate? That completely throws off any plan for the future I currently had. Thank you in advance!
I get the busy season is here for the postal service, and I appreciate what they do, but this was unbelievable. Almost a full month waiting for my package. What went wrong?
