I have a dream of taking my bike on the MARC train from Union Station midday, spending 2 nights in Baltimore and getting around by bike, and returning to DC. Prob Tuesday to Thursday.
Never taken my (non-electric) bike on MARC and actually only taken MARC a handful of times.
I know I need to take bungee cords and wait for the next train if it’s bike-full.
Any advice?
My partner and I are regular Golds users in Arlington. I pay ~$13 extra a month to be able to use the DC Golds (which I think includes Rosslyn). Partner does not but would like to occasionally use the DC gyms.
Has anyone added the DC gyms and what did it cost? I guess using a travel pass to use them would be too easy. Also, is Silver Spring included with DC?
I know I can talk to Golds about this but wanted to check here first. Thanks.
Annoying how difficult it is to report issues to CaBi. It’s almost like they don’t care.
Station in S Arlington at Columbia Pike and Walter Reed appears to be offline. Still shows up in app though.
The only way I could figure out how to report it was “report an issue” and then to say the station was vandalized. It wasn’t vandalized though. Also I had to walk back to the station to do this since I had already gone to another station to dock my bike and the app wanted to report that station.
Is there an easier way? I hate for everyone trying to use this station to be similarly inconvenienced.
