Self made pattern. Fabric is velour lined with thin nylon fabric to stop stuffing escaping. Made the strings by braiding sewing thread. Droplets were leftovers from a whale I made earlier in the year with a water spout. All hand stitched since I can't be arsed to use a sewing machine, strands hand beaded.

She has a loop at the top so I can hang her on my bag. 🌧🌩

Very tempted to make her a little lightning bolt companion out of gold lamé or gold velvet.

If you want to find long velvet skirts, tops, etc or devore or silk pieces in lots of sizes that haven't been scooped up by a reseller and rebounded as "Y2K vintage whimsigoth fairycore skirt RARE" and priced at £45/$50, search for:

* velvet skirt suits

* velvet 2 piece

* mother of the bride outfit

* wedding 2 piece

* evening wear 2 piece

Things like that and you'll get the results above, often for much cheaper. You can always keep the skirt, donate or upcycle the jackets, etc. Look at the individual pieces and imagine them with your boots and your necklaces ans your tote bags. This stuff is often a lot nicer quality too from brands like Ann Harvey, Monsoon, Per Una, M&S.
