Фотографією займаюсь вже не перший рік, але досі працюю переважно на старій камері, тому вирішив нарешті оновитись.

Зараз найбільше дивлюсь на Sony A7 IV. По характеристиках наче все підходить під мої задачі: портрети, вулична фотографія, трохи зйомок для роботи. Але хочеться зрозуміти, чи це зараз оптимальний варіант за свої гроші.

Дивився ще Canon R6 Mark II і Nikon Z6 III, але поки більше схиляюсь до Sony через вибір об'єктивів.

Якщо тут є фотографи, які працюють на цих камерах, що б ви взяли зараз? І де зазвичай шукаєте техніку, коли купуєте такі дорогі речі?

I run a small atelier doing around 20-30 garments a week. Mostly medium-weight fabrics with some heavier multilayer work. Right now I’m making buttonholes with an attachment on my main machine. It works fine. The inconsistency drives me crazy. The setup time for each garment adds up.

I’m trying to figure out whether a dedicated buttonhole machine actually makes sense at this volume or if I’ll just end up with an expensive machine sitting unused half the week.

Has anyone at a similar production volume made the switch? Did the consistency and time savings actually justify it or did you regret giving up the floor space?

Friends recommended installing heated floors during our bathroom remodel. It sounds great, especially for the winter but it's also another added expense.

Now I'm looking for a contractor with experience installing heated floors who does quality work at a fair price. If you've had this done recently. I'd really appreciate any recommendations or tips on what to look for before hiring someone.

I sew mostly Cordura, webbing and occasionally leather. Most of my work is myog and outdoor gear.

In most discussions people recommend the juki dnu 1541s but it's been around for a long time. Is it still the best option in its price range or are there better alternatives now?

I'm only considering a new machine. If you're currently using a the 1541s for myog I'd love to hear your real-world experience.
