Friends recommended installing heated floors during our bathroom remodel. It sounds great, especially for the winter but it's also another added expense.

Now I'm looking for a contractor with experience installing heated floors who does quality work at a fair price. If you've had this done recently. I'd really appreciate any recommendations or tips on what to look for before hiring someone.

I sew mostly Cordura, webbing and occasionally leather. Most of my work is myog and outdoor gear.

In most discussions people recommend the juki dnu 1541s but it's been around for a long time. Is it still the best option in its price range or are there better alternatives now?

I'm only considering a new machine. If you're currently using a the 1541s for myog I'd love to hear your real-world experience.
