Plant corner

This is my plant corner at home. On some lucky days, this is the most light it can receive but it never is consistent sunlight. The top shelf never really gets a lot of light that’s why I have on there a 40W sansi bulb which provides constant 500ish PPFD for my Thai con. All other plants beside it (calatheas, zz plant, are i think content with the amount of indirect light it receives.

Anything you’d change on here? Any suggestions? Thanks

£3 for this jacket off vinted.

Just received this in the mail and very happy to have bought it off vinted for just £3 (Around £5 including shipping) in very good condition.

It has a 001 printed inside the inner pocket
RAU F. CO rivets
Conmar and talon Zips

Can anyone ID this for me?

Also, i’m planning to go to a tailor to have the epaulettes removed. Just doesn’t seem very practical to me and not very pleasing aesthetically.

Overall very happy with this

Grow lights

Hi, new to this sub.

I have a little plant corner in our flat and worry they’re not getting enough light, especially my monsteras.

I was thinking of getting the 4 10W sansi bulbs with the gooseneck clip on for all of them as I didnt want to be too fussy about them. Would they be enough? Most of the pther plants thrive in indirect light anyway so planning to just focus the lights at least on my monstera.

Prior to this i was thinking of getting a floor lamp and sticking a sansi 10W on there for all of them.

Or am i better off getting a 40w sansi bulb for all of them?

This is a mostly south facing window and live in london

New! (To me)

Just bought these cuties off marketplace for less than £5. They have a couple of unfurled leaves on not so “fully furled” leaves and top inch of soil is bone dry so will need watering. Any tips on how to shape them and stake them?

Hopeful

Day one of maybe the devs seeing this post to give us this helmet without the netting in a variety of options. (With a Balaclava and/or goggles)

They could have cooked with the new helmets in the event but why the hell do those cloth coverings suck? And the mask combo is unecessary. Surely they could have made sandstorm covers a bit more aesthetic. The helmets just look weird. Can they not code goggles, mask, and helmet separately?

I know it’s quite a simple thing to rant about but i like this game, and i’ve been playing it since day one. And the outfits look better in div1 which is just baffling to me.

Help in choosing outfit

It’s supposed to be for a citizenship ceremony and i’d hust like to go smart casual. Any advice welcome. My wife likes the last one and I’m leaning to it too.

Pardon the messy room. I was putting stuff on and off

Uneven toebox

Hi reddit, just bought these abroad and now back to my home country and just really noticed this. The left toebox seems more pointy than the right. Can I just fix this with damp cloth and steam iron with some toe shapers inserted in the shoe?

Aer CP 2 16L side handles cut

For those that want a photo of them off, here you go. Just for the record I didn’t have a weighing scale so I wasn’t able to measure them but they literally weigh next to nothing. Your empty tech pouch probably weighs more than the handles do.

It looks cleaner now though, kinda looking like a black ember citadel. I’m happy with how it looks like!

A bit of fraying on parts where I cut them and didn’t want to singe them for fear of potentially ruining the xpac.

I used a retractable blade to cut them, make sure they’re very sharp.

Put an old credit card underneath the handle junction so you don’t accidentally cut the fabric

Aer CP2 16L side handles

So I just bought myself a nice pack from aer. I’m a bit of a bag nerd myself and have tried a couple of bags over the years, only to sell them because I didn’t like how they looked and felt on my back. I had a 5.11 amp10 20L for like 7 years and i liked that so much for it’s small and compact size, great for my for edc until it finally gave up on me. So i tried alpha one niner whitley, the toshi rework 20L, alpaka metro backpack pro 24, and a bunch of other stuff but sold them all as I didn’t really want to hoard packs that I wouldn’t use.

Present day with this aer backpack, I found the aer CP2 to be good so far. Durable construction and just enough for what i carry to work as I don’t like bringing bulky backpacks throughout my commute.

The only thing though, these ridiculous side handles are a bit annoying. They kinda look like big ears or like a steering wheel. I don’t wanna take them back either because it’s such a great bag size-wise.

Anyone know where I can have them professionally cut without damaging the xpac or surrounding fabric? I’m based in London, UK and I don’t know if there are any bag repairs or alterations anywhere.

For now, i’ll probably just try and ignore them as much as i can. Who knows, maybe they’ll grow on me someday.
