Red Duke not planned to be a playable faction anytime soon.

Mitch from CA sadly confirmed that there is no Red Duke faction planned right now and may also never happen in the future.

Massive ufff.

Give me the strongest Meele Vampire in the lore: Abhorash

Maybe a Gotrek and Felix or Green Knight like character? He even helped Bretonnia in the past.

After 10 years CA still didn't do any justice to Grimgor and his Boyz.

After ten years of development and improvements across many factions and LLs, I really think Grimgor and his Boyz got the short end of the stick.

In contrast to his lore self, where Grimgor is a certified badass, a mean green ball of apocalypse, and arguably one of the deadliest beings in the Warhammer universe his in-game version feels pretty underwhelming.

As a unit, Grimgor isn't anything special. He’s just a beatstick. In itself, that’s not necessarily a bad thing and actually fits his character after all, he’s just a massive Orc who turns people into red paste. But in Warhammer 3, even a fully leveled-up Grimgor doesn't come close to many other LLs in that role. There are numerous Lords and even Heroes who outclass him, whereas he should be sitting right near the top. I know you can make almost any character immortal with the right items, but that’s beside the point...

Faction-wise, it’s as basic as it gets for Greenskins. His faction easily has the least amount of flavor among them all. I don't expect every faction to have crazy complex mechanics, but anything even a small feature would be nice for the de facto leader of the Greenskins. Even a simple mechanic like "Fight more to get stronger / slack off and get weaker" would do wonders.

It was honestly a bit disappointing seeing Karl Franz get awesome toys while in a similar situation, while Grimgor got nothing. I know some people argue that having straightforward, basic factions is good for the game, but extra flavor is never a bad thing in my book. You can keep things basic and still make a faction more interesting to play.

Another thing that has ALWAYS bothered me is 'Da Immortulz'. As an infantry unit in Warhammer lore, they’re iconic. I’ve never understood why obscure lore regiments get their own RoR while Da Immortulz are relegated to a mere banner mechanic. They 100% deserve at least a unique RoR with custom models. Sticking that banner on the Krimson Killerz just doesn't do them justice.

And seriously CA, where is the Borgut Facebeater LH for Grimgor?

I really hope CA takes another look at Grimgor eventually he’s one of the most important characters in the End Times. A update would be fitting with the upcoming DLC.

AGL Team mission against Beast Gohan

Horrible mission for sure.

Rotations are pretty much self-explanatory. The fight is very RNG-reliant. You hope that fully juiced AGL Gohan Crits. Friend Beast Gohan also needs to crit with his counters.

AGL Trunks, AGL Gohan Trunks before his swap and Anni Vegeta will lose you some runs.

You also could use LR Int Future Trunks for Piccolo, if you don't have him.

Needed 7-8 tries.

Crafting being exclusive to Mining is bad.

Hey,

I feel like CIG needs properly integrate multiple game loops for crafting. Right now, if you want to craft anything substantial or high-quality, you are essentially forced into the mining loop to get refined ores. If you don’t want to spend hours( a lot of hours lol) grinding rock mechanics, your only other option is to buy ores on trading platforms like UEX for painfully extortionate prices.

This shouldn’t be the case. Crafting should be a standalone end-goal that rewards various playstyles, not just a sub-feature of mining.

Dismantling needs randomized quality drops: Whether you are a dedicated cargo hauler buying surplus parts, a salvager stripping abandoned hulls, or a PvE/PvP fighter who looted disabled ships, a FPS player who found components on the ground, you should be able to drag an acquired component to an Fabricator and dismantle it for its core elements with a chance for high-quality drops.

The XL-1 Example: Imagine looting or salvaging a high-tier military component like an XL-1 Quantum Drive. Dismantling it shouldn't just give you the flat, unbuffed 500 Q baseline. It should yield a randomized pool of the actual ores required to build it (like Borase, Tungsten, or Stileron) with a randomized quality scale (e.g., a chance to pull 750+ or even 900+ Q materials). Finding a rare component in the wild should feel like hitting a jackpot for a crafter, allowing you to bypass the mining laser if you excel at combat or scavenging instead.

The "Bricked" component system prevents progression: With 4.8, player-looted components are "bricked" and are pretty much useless.

Combat pilots and pirates get zero crafting progression from their victories. We should be able to component-strip high-tier military or industrial gear to extract rare crafting elements. The Bricked system also pretty much kills the 'Pirate' gameloop, which never was a real thing to begin with.

Forcing every single crafter down the exact same tiresome mining path completely goes against the "play your way" philosophy that Star Citizen always promises. Let fighters salvage battlefields, let haulers recycle commodities, and let pirates strip tech from their prey to keep the Fabricators running.

And by the way, I think Mining right now just sucks, its extremely boring and tiresome. It needs changes for sure.

Not feeling very optimistic about the upcoming 4.9 patch.

Please don't be broken...
Those "Balance" changes sound horrible.

How CIG balances the game:

They must be randomly typing numbers at this point.

Fuel numbers make zero sense.

Not the first time, CIG makes questionable decisions, when it comes to balancing.

I am a Whale and I only play the game for my Org. Not having any fun.

I am a backer from 2014, and I really used to believe in the vision for this game. But after 12 long years, it is impossible to deny that the current state of the game is simply unacceptable. The usual defense of "It's an alpha, deal with it or go touch grass" is such a lazy, stupid argument for a project that has been in development for over a decade. And let’s not forget the $1 billion they’ve brought in.

I don't expect an alpha to be bug-free. However, I absolutely expect the game to have sorted out its absolute basic mechanics by now. We shouldn't still be struggling with things like:

Safely getting into a ship or your own hangar.

Dying to elevators or having ships randomly explode inside hangars.

Falling out of quantum traveling ships or falling straight through the map.

Suddenly suffocating while wearing a fully equipped helmet.

And don't get me started on the events. There is not a single event in the game right now that works reliably. TSG? No. Onyx? No. Contested Zones? No. Cargo Hauling or Mining? No. Vanduul? No.

Almost every single gameplay loop is broken. Basic mechanics are completely fucked, yet again.

On top of that, the sheer amount of time this game demands just to do anything is ridiculous. Managing an Org event has become a painful, grueling experience. Just organizing 15 people for an event can easily take 1 to 2 hours easily because of constant bugs, server errors, and nonsensical design decisions. Then, when you finally get started and get completely screwed over by the game after 3–4 hours of fighting the system, you're left wondering: What the fuck am I even doing here? Am I having fun? No. Are my mates having fun? No. I just wasted an entire evening fighting the game itself.

I’ve realized that I am only logging in for my Org. I love spending time with them, but honestly, that time would be much better spent playing literally any other game together.

By most standards, I would be considered a whale. I still don’t regret the money I’ve spent over the years, but I have officially lost all hope that CIG will deliver a real, functional game anytime soon.

Rant over.
