How can you be clean but not tidy?

People will often say to me they're clean but not tidy, and I don't get how that's possible. Like, I understand the opposite- you could put everything away in cupboards and make sure you have no clutter, but then not wipe down your surfaces or vacuum. So you'd be tidy but not clean.

But how can you wipe your surfaces and mop and vacuum if you have a bunch of clutter in the way? If you describe yourself as clean but not tidy, what do you actually mean by that?

Are other cities as constantly disrupted as us?

It feels like there's barely a weekend in the year when the city centre isn't partly shut down for sport or a big concert. Now I know in some ways that's a success story, we're attracting lots of exciting events and tourism. But because we're such a small city and the main venues are right in the centre, it feels to me like we're unusually poorly equipped to handle it (in terms of transport, and the fact we can't use a large portion of the park- which was gifted to us- for the entire summer).

But I don't want to be unfair. So are there other cities which are as badly disrupted as regularly as Cardiff is? Edinburgh comes to mind but at least that's only August.

I would also like to know where the money is going. The council is letting Blackweir be used all summer. Is that money at least being used to fund council services? Would we have a massive budget shortfall without it?

Aircon in Adamsdown

My flat is pretty dangerous right now, so I was in the infirmary library/ cafe which was great. It's closed now so I'm just in the hospital waiting room. Does anyone know where else I can go? Is the Wetherspoons air-conditioned today? I think I'll need to stay out until at least 6. Lucky I've got my book 🙃

Is there a limit to how many posts I can hide?

Not my posts, other people's posts, so hiding them just from my view.

Basically I like playing puzzles on Reddit but I've been using the hide post function for puzzles I know I won't be able to do, eg I know nothing about the subject. I no longer seem to have the ability to hide posts. Have I reached a limit?
