I like to play from the beginning rather than starting at one of the checkpoints so I can rack up more stuff. I had this amazing run going only to get one shot in the least cool way possible.
Just curious, DMs when you are running or planning your campaign, do you use WotC official settings like ebberon and Faerun, or do you typically create your own world?
Been unemployed since February. Using mostly indeed to find job prospects, doing both quick apply and apply on site options when available. Getting mostly ghosted, some interviews that went nowhere and still waiting to hear back from a few places.
I’m wondering if maybe branching out from indeed may help me? What are some other places I should look?

I had a phone interview that went very well, so well that she scheduled me an in person interview the next day. The in person interview also went really well, to the point that they told me “we don’t give the job offer during the interview, so we’ll give your information to the recruiter (who did the phone interview). That was yesterday. How long should I wait before reaching out again? I really want this job and I think it’s a good fit for me.
I love stupid characters, I have many ideas that I haven’t played yet, such as a Dwarf Giant Barbarian named Mareo, or a really high strength halfling. In DnD i once played a character who was basically just doom guy.
What are some “dumb” characters you’ve thought about/actually played?
I just feel so defeated right now. I was fired from my job in February in the middle of a work comp injury (broken wrist). And I can’t get anywhere. And when they do respond, it’s just to say “call us when you’re healed”. Or that they don’t have anything that fits my current restrictions. I would wait it out, but my unemployment won’t last that long. I have about a month of UE left with no leads. I apply at places every day. I just want to give up.
Thinking about doing a Bladesinger Durge for my next run. My question is, as a Bladesinger, do you use INT for melee attacks similar to Blade pact warlocks using CHA? Or would I still need to use STR or DEX?
Pretty much just the title. I don’t like them. Every time I try to hit them, it seams like I get hit too. So annoying.
I didn’t get the game until like 6 patches in, and the durge quest line seems so oddly specific and like it could’ve easily just been the main story, so for it be just one option makes me wonder if it was added later.
