Alternative to Berlin Sans

I'm designing a book. The text was given to me in Word, and it's been already pretty intensely formatted in Baskerville, with Berlin Sans for the title page, heads, other incidentals. I am taking this to be an indication of the client's ideas. (The client is at one step away from me so I can't ask them directly what they want.)

I tend to use low-key sans-serifs in situations like this, but it seems clear the client wants something a bit more punchy. I'm usually easily able to think of something. I know I don't want Berlin Sans (which is fine in itself, but isn't grabbing me for this) but what sans-serifs would work as an alternative? Something with character, but not too extreme, and with at least 2 weights?

Suggestions?

Recent issue in iPad app. If I select “Continue this thread” at any point, instead of getting that result, I get sent back to the top of the thread. Been using the app a long time and it has only started doing this recently.
