When people think liking a character means you think they’re a good person

“Zeke is my favorite character”

“What?? But he killed so many people!”

Yes, I’m not saying I agree with his actions or that he’s a good person. I like him as a character, not as a person. I like the way he’s written and he’s the most enjoyable character for me to watch/read, doesn’t mean I’d like him if he was real.

Please help! What are these bees?

These two bees were found on lavender plants in Utah and I can't seem to figure out what they could be. Any ideas?

Rescued a gecko—trying to weigh my options

I rescued a little guy (adult leopard gecko, not sure how old) and he seems to be doing okay, except he’s missing a bunch of his front toes. Previous owner says it’s from stuck shed. He still had some shed on his remaining toes so I put him in a container of warm water to try and rub it off. It worked for the most part, but he got really mad. He was making frantic, stressed out movements while he was out of his tank and held his mouth open as a danger response. When I put him back, he hid away for a good two days.

Today, he finally came out but I realized I must have missed some shed on one of his toes. I don’t want him to lose that one too, but I feel so bad about how stressed he got when I took him out. Is it worth the stress to get that one piece of stuck shed off? I want this guy to be as comfortable in his new home as possible.
