Fly-On-The-Wall Theatre Book Recommendations

I'm looking to sink my teeth in more books about theatre-making, particularly books that document the process of directing a play or performing in one. I've recently finished Tirzah Lowen's spectacular Peter Hall directs Antony and Cleopatra, which I cannot recommend enough to those who haven't read it already.

So, I'm looking for something along that line, or like Antony Sher's collection of books giving insight into his preparation for Lear, Richard III, etc. They don't have to be about Shakespeare characters; those are just the best examples I can think of.

X-Men Dice Throne - Replacement Character Standees

Hello. Does anyone know where I could find replacements for the X-Men Dice Throne cardboard character standees. I purchased the limited edition battle chest off eBay; it arrived it perfect condition but it was missing the cardboard miniatures. Spoke to the seller and it was an honest mistake; he previously sold the Marvel Missions and packaged the standees in that by mistake.

So yeah, if anyone has an idea of how to get replacements for the 8 X-Men playable characters, or can recommend an alternative, Id be very grateful. The official sculpts don't look amazing in my opinion.

Thoughts on a West Marshes style campaign for Candela?

Hi everyone. So, as the title says, I'm seriously starting up my own West Marches-style campaign using Candela Obscura. I've run the system before and loved the ease and accessibility it offered, especially to new TTRPG players. I'd love to hear from anyone who’s tried to run something similar. Curious how well you think the Candela system lends itself to that kind of structure.

For those who have run or played something similar:

  • What worked particularly well?
  • What problems did you run into?
  • Did you change how you structure assignments, downtime?
  • Did you explore the shared world differently like a traditional West Marches campaign?
  • Are there any house rules or changes you’d recommend?
  • Thoughts on how to tackle or amend the way in which you directly tie in characters' backstories and ideas into Candela, given that it is not being played in a West Marches style.

Daggerheart Superhero reskin

Hi everyone. I thought earlier this week i came across a massive Daggerheart reskin document for a superhero themed campaign. Does anyone know where that has gone? I was pretty sure it was version 2.0, but maybe the heat has made me crazy

Noob query about two mods clashing re: Phalar Aluve

Hi everyone. So, I'm a complete noob when it comes to all things mods for BG3. I'm running the game on my PS5 and most of the mods I have downloaded at cosmetic or redesigns of NPCs, with a handful of new equipment mods.

I have a query about two equipment mods potentially clashing. I have downloaded the following two mods:

I want to ensure that the Phalar Aluve weapon uses the #1 mod and not the adjustments in the rebalancing of mod #2. How can I make sure this happens? From basic googling, it appears that loading the higher priority mod later might work. So, therefore, enable Rebalance Gear and then enable Phalar Aluve: Become Legend.

Will this work? Sorry for the complete ignorance when it comes to this sort of thing and I really appreciate the help.
