how to make hair dry wavy?
hello all!
when the top of my head doesn’t get wet, the bottom gets quite wavy. in highschool the underneath used to be wavy and the top pin straight. now i find that because i brush it after i shower, the weight just makes it straight if i wait for my hair to be just damp and not dripping. if it’s dripping it’ll dry… funky lol.
in the past i’ve tried using products to see if it was wavy but if i plop my hair it takes HOURS to dry. and i didnt put it on soaking wet hair.
my last two showers i shampooed, conditioned, brushed in shower, parted after shower, sprayed with more water to make it dripping and day one scrunched curl cream into it, and then mouse. second day i just used mousse as i heard cream might weigh it down. i scrunched with microfibre towels to get rid of some water weight.
i have very thick hair. i think its weighing down my waves. i’ll attach photos of it when wet and then as it dries/when it’s dry.
any help would be great? TIA
