New Zard exhaust came in!

My new Zard slip-on just came in and boy I have to tell you... not even on the same league of the previous TT Slash Cut; both in terms of finishes and fitting.

I ordered the one already equipped with the "quieter" db killers (aka baffles) and it's just a bit rumblier/louder than the stock one; not comparable with the baffled TTSC.

Hitchcox exhaust

Before I pull the trigger on a Hitchcox exhaust for my scrambler 1200 X I would like to ask you, wise people of the internet, for a bit of opinions on the quality of the same if anyone has it.

After being burned badly by the absolute garbage that the TT slash cut is I would like to avoid trowing away 1.500 eur before collecting some considerations about quality control at Hitchcox; for 1500eur (for two stainless steel tubes) I'm expecting some state of the art work. Is it really?

Total Triumph Slash Cut - problems

I would like to write a little rant about Total Triumph and their "Slash Cut" exhaust for our scramblers, so the other know what to expect.

I bought that exhaust because I really love the look of it; I like it better than the hitchox one.

My rant is not about the exhaust itself since it's just a piece of stainless steel tubing but I'm really let down by the customer support and the quality control of TT.

My exhaust arrived with pretty evident defects on one of the tips but the most important problem was that the fitting holes did not align with the oem heatshield of the scrambler... I had to work on it quite a bit to be able to fi it and in the end the "inclination" of the support is still wrong.

When confronted with this problems they did not propose any settlement whatsoever and just said that they never heard of such problems. They just not answered anymore then.

So if you decide to buy them just be aware that you might receive something that is not worth the premium detailwise and no one will answer when confronted.
