Ano to PLDT?

SOBRANG KAPUTANGINAHAN NA TALAGA NG PLDT. 🤬
7 DAYS. PITONG ARAW. WALANG INTERNET. And what makes this even more infuriating is not just the outage—it’s the complete incompetence, misinformation, at kawalan ng coordination ng customer service ninyo.
On the 4th day, tumawag kami. We were told na may tech visit within 24 hours. 5th day—walang pumunta. 6th day—tumawag ulit kami, wala pa rin. Then yesterday, we were once again assured na 100% may pupunta today at 8 AM.

And who gave that assurance? A SUPERVISOR.

So today, 9 AM pa lang tumatawag na ako. After 30+ minutes on hold, multiple transfers and holds, I finally got a customer service representative almost 10 AM. Habang nasa call ako, nag-chat pa ako sa kapatid ko na nasa bahay just to check kung may dumating na PLDT technician—because I was already in the office and wanted to end the call if someone was actually there.

Guess what? WALA.

After another round of holds and explanations, biglang hindi pala sure ang tech visit.

And let’s talk about the reimbursement.

73 HOURS LANG?! 😂
HELLO??? 7 DAYS = 168 HOURS.
So saan napunta ang remaining hours? 😂

You had 7 days to fix the problem. You had multiple opportunities to communicate properly. You had supervisors giving “100%” assurances. And yet here we are—still without internet, still waiting, still calling, and still getting different answers from different people.

We understand that technical problems happen. WHAT WE DON’T UNDERSTAND IS WHY YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR COMPANY’S INCOMPETENCE WITH THEIR TIME, MONEY, AND PATIENCE.

This is beyond frustrating. This is fucking ridiculous.
PLDT, hindi lang connection ang sira ninyo. Pati proseso, communication, coordination, at customer service ninyo sablay.

7 DAYS WITHOUT INTERNET.
30+ MINUTES WAITING PER CALL.
MULTIPLE CALLS.
MULTIPLE PROMISES.
A SUPERVISOR’S “100% ASSURANCE.”
AND STILL—WALANG TECHNICIAN.

At the end of all that, 73 hours lang ang reimbursement?

KAPUTANGINAHAN TALAGA. 🤬

Toxic seniority

Kailan mo masasabi na toxic ang workplace mo?

Kapag may mga taong ginagamit ang “seniority” para magkaroon ng special treatment. Yung tipong:

“Kala ko kasi being a senior, I have the benefit to decide kung anong schedule ang pipiliin ko.”

Yes, nangyayari siya sa maraming company. Pero hanggang kailan magiging normal yung ganitong mindset? Para saan pa yung rules and policies kung applicable lang sa mga bago?

Seniority should be used to guide, mentor, and help build a healthy work environment — hindi para manglamang o mang-power trip.

Hahaha. Kaloka talaga.

Scam Alerttttt

My cousin got scammed and harassed yesterday. He lost ₱5,000.

Apparently, these scammers use TG to target high school and college students. Here’s how their modus works: they join school or university group chats using attractive profile photos and act super friendly and sweet right away. After gaining your trust in a short period of time, they invite you to a video call — but the call is secretly being recorded.

They then take screenshots of your face and edit them into explicit videos or photos, making it appear like you’re involved. After that, they threaten to spread the fake content unless you send them money.

Please be careful, especially students. Never accept random video calls or trust strangers too quickly online.

Also, hoping someone can help identify the owner of this GCash account. This kind of scam needs to stop. 😔

There’s nothing wrong with making friends, whether online or in person. What’s wrong is deceiving, scamming, and taking advantage of people. Duh!
