Hindi Magkaintindihan ang Network Engineers at Technicians dito

Hello. June 30 pa kami nawalan ng internet at sa past 6 days of constant follow-up reports laging pabalik balik ang ticket ko sa technicians at network engineers. Tatlo na bumisitang technicians dito at pare-parehas sila ng sinasabi na hindi magawa ang linya at kailangan daw itawag sa office dahil sila na daw makakaayos non, pero pag finafollow-up ko naman sa CS ang sabi may problema sa physical line na kailangan puntahan ng technician ayon sa network engineers. Pero pag may pupunta, ganon ulit, ibabato lang ng technician sa network engineers.

Mukhang stuck na yung ticket ko sa loop na to at mag-iisang linggo na ring walang nangyayari dahil parehong walang nakakaalam sa problema ng linya ko. Pati CS paiba iba ng sinasabi. Sabi nung yuna may outage sa area, tapos biglang isolated case, tas ngayon outage na naman.

Hndi parin disconnected account namin

Ano pwedeng gawin dito? Since june 2nd week nag request na ako ng disconnection, nagbayad ng buo for whole month ng june kahit june 1st week wala na kami internet with oath of undertaking etc etc. na acknowledged naman nila pero hanggang ngayon meron nnaman kami bill kahit ilang beses naki tumawag sakanila. Wala na ba tlagang kwenta 171 technical support nila? Ano pwedeng gawin dito since sawa na tlaga ako tumawag. Pag pumunta ba sa pldt office anong concern dapat ang gawin at isecure para sure na madisconnect na yung line?

Grabeng stress na inaabot ko dito, never ako nag disrespect sa mga nakakausap ko pero prang lahat ng mura bibitaw ko na tlaga

PLDT is a SCAM

Growing up, we had PLDT phone lines sa house ng parents ko. Wala naman problema until binaha kami noong Ondoy.

After the flood, hindi na kami nagkaroon ng maayos na connection sa PLDT namin, palaging intermittent kahit ilan beses na namin pinaayos. Ang sabi nalang ng tech team nila, sorry hindi na nila kayang ayusin. Ang advice ng PLDT office is terminate nalang, so nagpaterminate nalang kami ng line and transferred to Converge.

After ilan years, probably 4-5 years after, bigla nalang kami tinawagan ng collection agency na meron daw kaming outstanding balance na hindi namin binayaran kasi hindi daw nagpush through yung termination.

My dad contested it dahil siya mismo naglakad ng termination sa PLDT office Pedro Gil near us, pero nag-file pa rin sila ng kaso laban sa amin since ayaw nga bayaran ng father ko.

In the end, nagbayad nalang father ko for 4-5 years na bills kahit wala naman nang linya ng PLDT sa amin.

Same thing happened sa isang business namin sa Caloocan (PLDT Grace Park East). Nilakad namin ang termination, then after 2-3 years, tatawag collection agency para sabihin meron kaming outstanding balance na dapat i-settle kasi hindi daw na-push through ang termination.

Akala ko noon, coincidence lang, chamba lang, baka nga kami ang may pagkakamali.

It happened again a 3rd time noong nakabukod na ako at lumipat ako ng ibang condo. Yung PLDT line ko dun is ako mismo ang naglakad ng termination sa PLDT Office sa SM North Annex.

After 2 years I moved out, bigla na naman may tumawag sa aking collection agency saying meron na naman akong outstanding balance kasi hindi daw na-push through yung disconnection.

Same story. Same modus.

Eto na naman tayo for the 4th time.

Recently, a collection agency messaged me again saying meron na naman akong outstanding balance sa line na pinaterminate ko 2 years ago from an old business office.

Putang ina lang talaga. Sinigawan ko na yung agent na tumawag sakin, sabi ko sa kanya -

"Hindi ka ba nakokonsensya sa ginagawa mo???? Putang ina, ang number one requirement niyo sa mga customer niyo para makapag-apply ng request for termination is bayaran lahat ng outstanding balance. Paano ako nakapag-process ng termination at hindi na-bill sa loob ng dalawang taon kung hindi ako nakapagbayad ng balanse ko?!?!?! Pang-apat na beses na akong hinahabol ng PLDT dahil sa putanginang outstanding balance na hahabulin niyo after ilang years, na sino bang magtatago ng resibong pinagbayaran 2 3 years nang nakalipas?!?!?!"

Sorry lang abg naisagot niya sa akin at sinabi niya mismo na "Sa totoo lang Sir, lahat ng cases na nandito sa amin, ganyan ang feedback ng mga tinawagan namin. Puro mga terminated na ang account for 2-3 years tapos hinahabol pa ni PLDT then pag ayaw magbayad, tatakutin na kakasuhan daw.

PLDT slow restoration!

We have no internet for 17 days! It took 7 days to send us a technician just to say that our line was part of an outage (which happens monthly since April), and that they cannot fix it on their own and that it was passed to the site engineer. I have been calling 171 every day just to hear the same script again and again, “we will create an escalation report” but all of it was useless. On the 15th day another update was sent thru sms that our connection was already fixed and they closed the ticket but still we have no connection! I immediately called 171 but they never connect me to an agent and the virtual agent created new ticket stating that a line problem was detected and wait for a technician! They are just going on circles! This is very frustrating and stressful!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Grabe ang PLDT, simula Dec 16, 2025 hanggang ngayon July 2026 wala padin kaming internet.

Pinuntahan ko na ang nearest office nila multiple times.
1st. Report sa Tech team thru their office landline
2nd. Followed up ulet after two weeks
3rd. Talked to in person sa office regarding the account after a month of no connection
4th. May pumunta sa amin pero sumilip lang walang action plan.
5th. Nag follow up ulet ako ano na next steps. options ay antayin bumalik ung tech team or kung wala disconnect na
6th. Walang nagpunta so nag pp disconnect na ako and applied for rebate dahil na bibill ako ilang months pero walang nangyayari. Sabi may tatawag daw sa steps to disconnect and re apply ulet ng rebate

May tumawag pero hindi pra i assist ako pero kungi offeran ako ng chicken mcdo basta bayaran ko ung remaining balance. Eh dapat wala kaming babayaran kasi all through out ng ilang months walang net.

Napagod na ako pumunta sa office Nila. Ask ko lang if hayaan ko nalang ba or sugod ulit sa office at magalit na talaga?

Need advice as well since need ko internet pero aalis na din kami dito sa tinitirhan less than a year, ang hirap mag hanap ng connection na walang locked in period baka po may ma-advice na alternatives po kayo.

Pldt disconnecting us from their box to connect a new customer

We have been a pldt customer for a decade. We may have some downtime(no internet) from time to time but we understand that this happens.

But this time its completely different and napaka unethical talaga. Last Monday, nawalan kami ng internet, i thought na yun usual lang. we reported it and wednesday may pumunta technician. The technician said,di nila maaayos and tatawagan engr nila at wala ng slot. Paano ngyari yun? matagal n kami customer ni pldt, paano nawalan ng slot? ng tanong tanong ako s subd and ginagawa pla ni pldt ito at marami n complain. kasi unlike other telcos pg wala sila internet wala lahat. ngayon kami lang wala internet na PLDT na wala. lahat meron.

I called up na PLDT customer service and they say wala timeline when maibabalik. So now ppunta kami sa PLDT office mismo and already emailed NTC.

So kung pldt customer kayo, kapag nawalan kayo internet make sure wala bago kinakabitan malapit sainyo. pag meron puntahan nyo agad at baka ibbigay sa iba slot ninyo.

May bill pero walang service

ask ko lang po kung may laban ba kami sa pldt kasi noong nabagyo kami nawalan sila ng service for 2 months pero naniningil sila ng bill, ang ginawa ng karamihan sa amin ay lumipat sa ibang internet provider at hindi na nagbayad sa pldt dahil matagal nang tapos ang bagyo pero hindi naman nila inaayos ang linya nila. Ano po kaya dapat gawin?

What to do?

I recently applied po for pldt last june 27 then naka sched po ng installation kinabukasan june 28 pero unfortunately walang tao non sa bahay kaya nagparesched kami for 29. Up until now wala pa ring kumocontact samin. Sa track application at sa PLDT cares application not found yung lumalabas pero sa 171 approved daw at assigned na sa technician. Ano po gagawin dito? wala ring email na makita to follow-up

PLDT TERMINATION REQUEST

So we've had the PLDT Fiber Plan 1299 for 4 years now. And last June, naka 3 repair tickets na kami dahil laging nawawalan ng net at dial tone. Up to now hindi pa rin naaayos yung landline namin, 3 days na.

And we're planning to request na for disconnection. Ito raw yung mga need iemail sa retention team nila:

  • Pre-termination fee, which is 3x your monthly service fee if the account is still within the lock-in period. If your account is already outside of the lock-in period, the pre-termination fee is waived.
  • No outstanding balance, no open dispute, no pending bill-related issues
  • Proof of payment
  • Duly signed Letter of Undertaking (LOU). The letter of undertaking should contain the statement, "I agree and understand that I shall continue to be liable for any and all charges due to the mentioned account and commits to settle all valid bills prior and subsequent to the effective date of this request".
  • Valid ID

Ang next due date ng billing namin is sa July 17, should we pay the full bill na 1299 now and gamitin yung receipt as proof of payment? Or just use yung June billing?

PLDT Fiber prepaid questions

For those who have PLDT Prepaid Fiber, how seamless is the process of buying load?
I also have a few questions:

●	Are the download and upload speeds synchronous (or at least nearly the same)?

●	Do they assign you an account number, or how is your prepaid account uniquely identified so that purchased services are credited to the correct account?

●	How is the latency compared to postpaid? My PLDT postpaid connection typically averages around 6 ms.

●	Are the LAN ports on the modem still enabled and usable?

I’d appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!

PLDT Peak-Hour Congestion – Will an upgrade actually fix this, or do I need a Static IP / Enterprise plan?

Hi guys, need advice from PLDT users or network techs.

I’m from Cebu on the PLDT Home Fiber 1699 Plan (paying ₱1,748.99/mo with a permanent speed boost) using an old model stock modem. To optimize my network, I turned off the stock modem's Wi-Fi entirely and connected my own TP-Link router via LAN to handle all the Wi-Fi and routing across the house. (Access Point Mode)

The Problem:
Around 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily (varies) my internet crawls. Web pages take ages to load and video platforms buffer heavily.

-It affects all devices: personal phones, PCs, and my corporate laptop running a Cisco VPN.

-Changing DNS to ⁠1.1.1.1⁠ barely helps.

Since I want to stick with PLDT for now, what is the best move?

  1. Get a Static IP: Does adding a paid Static IP to a residential plan actually bypass the peak-hour congestion? How much is it now?
  2. Upgrade to PLDT Home Biz / Enterprise: Is it worth switching to a business plan (like FiberBiz) to get priority routing and a built-in static IP?

Appreciate any insights from anyone who fixed this exact evening lag!

Blocked na ba ko sa PLDT?

Pag nire reach out ko sila puro AI or Couldn't understand. Pero pag account ng lola ko or kahit sino sa Bahay nag re-respond sila and nagbibigay sila ng Live Agent.

Paano pinagmumura ko, nawalan ako ng trabaho dahil sa kanila tapos ngayon ayaw nilang humarap? Mga hindi kayang gawin ng tama yung trabaho tapos takot jusko!

Poor Technician Resolving

PLDT has to be one if not the POOREST customer services out there.

I have been experiencing an on and off outage regarding my router and i have reported this issue as early as may 24 yet even they received the formal report it was acknowledged they said. When i noticed that the issue is still happening i went to their main office located in SM SOUTHMALL in which i reported to them personally that the same issue is still reoccurring. The staff then informed us that our ticket was considered "fixed/completed" without the technicians actually resolving the issue. She said that the ticket was not actually acknowledged but disregarded by their own teams which isn't a surprise, until now i am still experiencing the same issue and i have submitted a formal report to ntc seeking help to resolve PLDT's inconsistent assistance..

SLOW INTERNET AT A CERTAIN TIME

hindi ko alam kung sa bahay ba namin or sa lugar namin na laging bumabagal ung net around 7pm-10pm, to the point na hindi na makanood sa yt or anywhere else. im aware na pwedeng mataas lang traffic during this times, pero kasi noon pa may ganito then nawala tapos ngayon lang ulit nag kaganito.

Just noticed, is it normal for the Internet LED indicator on the router to blink randomly? PON is solid though. Router model is ZTE GPON ONT ZXHN F670L.

How can I follow up with my PLDT Prepaid wifi application?

Hello. I applied for Prepaid Fiber wifi and got approved last June 20th then nagbayad na ko nung initial fee na 999. Then I received sms the same day na may pupunta na technician pero wala naman. Then I received an email last June 23rd from PLDT Home Online regarding another approved application but different account number na. I also received a separate email asking for proof of payment, in which I sent proofs for the initial account number l was approved for. Then later on I received sms that my service was cancelled. I am confused if it is meant don sa other account number.

I checked with 171 with the account number I already paid for pero it says that it was approved. Then I checked sa online application tracker and it says that it was cancelled.

Any advice regarding this? Thank you 🥺
