Show me your Halloween cookies!

Halloween is my favorite and I’ve had so much fun doing these. Would love to see what others have done!

Ent saw these results and changed appointment from October 5- to July 6

Ultrasound results regarding mass in throat that first showed up 10 years ago and grew this past year during pregnancy

There are postsurgical changes of thyroidectomy. The right neck was scanned at the location of palpable abnormality, corresponding to the right submandibular region. There is a lobulated, heterogeneous mass measuring 3 cm x 1.8 cm x 1.1 cm. This demonstrates isoechoic and hypoechoic portions with possible cystic foci. Minimal vascularity.

Tell me how you got started!

Hi everyone! I’d love to hear what got you started in cookie decorating. nearly all of the accounts I follow on TikTok were stay at home moms who got started after having children. Same with me, I had free time, saw a video and thought it looked fun. If you have pics I’d love to see first cookies vs where you are now :)

Slowly falling in love with cookie decorating!

I know there is plenty of room for improvement. But this is so fun! Debating getting a projector ☺️

Please give me a good cookie recipe!

I can’t figure out how to make the cookies taste good. Maybe I’m just not a fan of them but I feel like they should taste better. The recipient I’ve been using is
1cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp butter emulsion
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups flour

They don’t taste bad but they also don’t taste good. They end up crunchy even though I’ve adjusted the cooking time.

What can I tweak?

Thanks!

I’m 34F. Had thyroid removed at 14 due to it being overactive. I take Levothyroxine. Just had a baby. I have a lump on front of throat. Kind of off center in the middle. It moves up when I swallow. It doesn’t hurt. I don’t feel like somethings stuck in throat. I noticed it about ten years ago. Current pcp didn’t suggest any scans because it didn’t bother me. Fast forward to this past year it’s grown enough I can see if in my neck. My pcp order ultrasound and these are the findings:

There are postsurgical changes of thyroidectomy. The right neck was scanned at the location of palpable abnormality, corresponding to the right submandibular region. There is a lobulated, heterogeneous mass measuring 3 cm x 1.8 cm x 1.1 cm. This demonstrates isoechoic and hypoechoic portions with possible cystic foci. Minimal vascularity.

Hopefully my pcp follows up soon. Thanks for any advice!
