I donated to a few midterm candidate campaigns and now I get 5 -7 texts a day from different Dems asking for money. I always send stop but it doesn't help every day another 5-7 messages from new numbers. How do I stop this? It's making me not want to donate again. it doesn't seem like there's anyway to stop it.
HVAC company ran condensate line for mini split in room above through foundation. If I knew it would need to go through foundation I would have probably said to add a pump and send it somewhere else. I just hate seeing new holes in the foundation for something like a mini split that will likely be replaced with something different in 25 years time... Oh well what's done is done
What's the best way to seal this hole? Im gonna have them add a PVC sleeve to run the rigid drain through. I heard hydrologic cement shouldn't be used on old brick. This is a 1897 house in new jersey.
Little worried about where the HVAC guys drilled in to run the drain. This is for a mini split install...They couldn't go from directly behind the unit because of the porch. I would have preferred a cleaner hole and lower down in the foundation . this feels dangerously close to the sill plate. Shouldn't this be filled with something? (Old 8in brick foundation)
I'm removing the steam heat system in my old home. one pipe leading to a upstairs radiator apparently has a bend in it going to the left before it goes up through second floor.
It does not appear to be secured to anything , I have cut both ends... can move it up and down about the height of the ceiling cavity, so I don't think it's going through a joist either.
What would you do? Cut close to the ceiling and try to tuck it in and leave it there and patch the small hole? Its already resting on the drywall at the moment with no issue.... Drywall is 5/8ths
Or should I cut a bigger hole and get it out?

Anyone have this unit, can it actually do its advertised minimum cooling of 13000btu ? I need 42,000 BTUs of heat and 19,000 of cooling at design temps. I'm worried it's gonna not be great in the summer when cooling as it'll be cycling?

Bought a home with a Lennox minisplit system installed in 2019. Anyone know who actually made it, gree or midea? Does it support wifi modules? Is it considered a good system? Will be used for heat in bedrooms in New Jersey.

With AWS Multi Account Strategy being around for awhile now, has anyone considered creating a separate account for their organizations Agentic workloads? Seems like it would make sense to limit the blast radius of agents should something go wrong.....

world cup is coming up next few days! Moved to a new house and time to upgrade from my 2016 era 48" budget Westinghouse tv. It served me well.

Visiting from out of state. Went to check out the porch fest cause I enjoy local music and figured it would be a nice time. Wish I would've known it was just a giant frat party! Brought my older family member with me and we could hardly walk, even got completely boxed in by the drunk crowd at one point... Crazy. took an hour to get out through the crowds. Didn't see any bands....
I wanna get one, it's the perfect size, perfect amount of luxury and is good looking. Just tell me there is a way to leave climate control on when I want to camp in it for a night and I'll sign on the dotted line.
