Can anyone tell me if civilians on PCS orders are charged to use the Patriot Express?

I got my orders and there is a very high dollar amount on my enroute transportation expenses. The clerk in my office is telling me that is my responsibility and a debt will be created. I am on PCS orders relocating to a different GS job. I am not under any service agreements.

Emotional attachment to Church

Let me preface this with: I am a cradle Catholic who was away from the church for a long time. I decided about a year ago to go talk to a priest about an annulment (another story, different time), and had a complete emotional breakdown - think ugly sobbing and alone sitting in my car- in the church’s parking lot after our discussion. It was profound sadness but during that moment of despair I was completely cradled by what I know was God/Holy Spirit and it changed the course of my life. Completely changed me in that moment. God was comforting me like only the Father can. I have never felt peace or comfort like that in my life and probably never will again. The feeling of that love is indescribable.

Anyway- the point of this post is this. I am moving from this country and returning to the U.S. However, because of this experience I get really upset thinking about being apart from this particular church. This is where it happened for me. This is where God came to me and healed my wounds. This is where I became a lay minister, something I could never do before. Just typing this I am getting emotional and weepy.

I know He will be with me wherever I am, but I am really mourning this. It makes me incredibly sad. I feel like I am abandoning my Father’s house. I hope this makes sense to someone, because logically I know He is everywhere but I don’t want to leave.

First ever Rosary I’ve made- for my son’s bday this month

It’s def not perfect but I love the way it turned out. Especially because I still don’t have all the tools so I had to make shift with what I had.
I love smaller, more compact, heavy beaded rosary’s. I hope he likes it.

Conservatorship or guardianship: severely mentally ill sibling

Long, long story short, I have an extremely mentally ill sibling suffering from bipolar type 2 and borderline personality disorder. She is 40 years old and incapable of basic care for herself and does not have custody of her 3 children. She has been very mentally ill since her teenage years.

We have tried to help her tirelessly through the years but now she is sleeping 2-3 days at a time and cannot keep up with basic care of herself. Hygiene, brushing her hair etc. She cannot keep jobs, lives hand to mouth, has never been able to keep a place to live etc. She also seems extremely over medicated now. Previous drug use but now medication is “managed.”

I could go on and on about the issues but I would appreciate general advice to start proceedings for declaring her mentally incompetent? She may need to be in a home where she can be cared for 100% of the time, mainly because no one in our family is willing to deal with her any longer. I would like to be able to make medical decisions on her behalf, also housing, finances (she has nothing) etc. She will not file for disability because she won’t follow through with the steps.

Advice is appreciated. State is Louisiana.

Is it inherently wrong to watch pastors such as PAM as a Catholic? I am 100% cradle/practicing Catholic, but I am intrigued by his preaching. This is normally in passing- snippets I see on social media, but his passion is infectious.

I feel like this is wrong and struggle with guilt because Catholicism is everything to me, and I am so blessed with our parish Priest. I consume a ton of Catholic content online and have no doubts, but I seem to always stop to listen to his message.

Is there a stance the Church takes with this that I am unaware of? Should this be something to avoid?
