I’ve been working on a sci fi setting for a while now, worldbuilding and such, and I wanted to know: at what point is sci fi no longer hard sci fi?
I’ve been trying to gauge what genre of sci fi my setting is and It’s kinda difficult to get a good grip on the scale of Hard vs soft sci fi(and their definitions as well). Like, can a hard sci fi setting be a space opera? Where does something stop being hard sci fi?
Hello! Recently my Xbox S has started(at seemingly random) disconnecting from my internet. Specifically, on occasion, the online services bar(friends, parties, game activities, and captures) bar will gray out- as if I’m offline. It will change from the online and offline state(graying out and then coming back repeatedly).
If during this time I happen to be in a Xbox Party chat, the party will cut off(I’m in the party but everyone else shows up “disconnected”. The bar might gray out, and sometimes the party will reconnect before my tab does. Also, somtimes even if the online services section is viewable, clicking on friends profiles doesn’t load or will straight up say “pleas try again later”.
Online multiplayer games also can’t be played(my example is AoE4, the game can be launched but tells me I’m not connected to online services) It never happens while I’m playing a game, however(only after I stop playing of before).
Restarting my Xbox doesn’t help(the issue persists) and I don’t really know what makes it stop, it just does at some point after 10ish minuets.
I’m really confused, I don’t know what the problem is. It doesn’t look like it’s my internet(i have wired connection) and I don’t think it’s my game pass subscription
