One of my hobbies are photography and I hate smartphones but there are situations when i see a photo opportunity and the only thing i have to take a shot is my phone. Therefore i sometimes took some snapshots with it. For months these were just piling up on my phone but recently i loaded to my computer and check them. I have found some which i think shows that moody images can be taken with this machine but still i prefer my dedicated cameras. Majority of the photos if not all was taken with 3 times telephoto lens. I rarely use the so called main camera and I find absolutely pointless to have these ultrawide cameras on any smartphones. But here it is a selection of half year photography with a tool i dont like.
Panasonic GF1 w Pana 25mm F1.7 and Oly 45mm F1.8
All taken with the Lumix LX100 mark I during the scorching days of August
Some of the images i took on these couple of days looks good in color too but i prefer to use BW with this cameras as i do with my GM5. It just reflects the harsh lights of these summer more for me.
GM5 with various lenses (12-45mm Oly, 75mm Oly, 45mm Oly, 20mm Pana)
Pictures were taken either the Olympus 45m F1.8 or the Olympus 12-45mm F4 lens. Camera is the Panasonic GM5.
Sony A7C w Viltrox 35 F1.8 II EVO
Used lenses: Olympus 12-45mm F4 and Panasonic 35-100 F4-5.6
Lenses used: Olympus 17mm F1.8 45mm F1.8 Panasonic 35-100m F4-5.6 14-140mm F3.5-5.6
The sharpness of the lens leaves leaves a lot to be desired especially on the long end so sometimes a bit of sharpening with topaz is needed. Otherwise its a great camera for B&W shooting. Have a nice day.
All done with the GM5 except the 3rd which i included just to put the first two pictures into context. That one is done with a very old Canon Powershot S3.
Pictures are taken with the 14-140mm with exception of the first for which i used the 9-18mm lens.
