Hi all, I'm helping my father decide whether going for smart home using Tapo products will suit his needs.

He wants to be able to set up a schedule and a temperature condition. Something along the lines of:

WHEN: between 11PM and 6AM

IF: temperature is below 19 degrees Celsius

ACTION: turn on a smart socket (to which a radiator will be connected)

He wants to be able to set up multiple schedules per day and he wants the software to continuously check the temperature (using information from TAPO T315 for example) between said time, not only on one specific hour.

Is that achievable? I searched for an answer online and found information that there are automation rules based on WHEN - IF - ACTION standard, but not sure if WHEN action is sophisticated enough to handle "check constantly between X and Y hour" command.

Is there anyone who set up something along these lines in their homes? I will appreciate any help regarding possible solutions, thanks!

Hi, I recently rewatched Years and Years (2019) and I'm looking for more movies or series that would pursue a similar matter - a take on how our future could (or will?) look like, economic situation, societies, climate etc. - can be all topics at once, but can also focus on one at a time.

When rewatching, I got again hooked by the first episode and I personally think the show peaked there and then steadily took a turn to worse >!with a really unearned hopecore-ish finale!< (masking for spoilers just in case). I look for something that would hit a similar cord.

I've watched original Utopia, Devs and Black Mirror. I heard The Expanse could have some of the vibe I described, could somebody confirm?
