Lisa’s new nose completely changed her profile

I thought her nose was great before, why did she change it? Now it’s so much longer and bigger, and I really don’t think it suits her face

Is Rosé wasting the hype she got from Apt?

Rosé had one of the biggest kpop-adjacent hits in years with Apt and somehow it feels like all that momentum just evaporated. People were tuned in and it felt like she was perfectly positioned to capitalize on it. But the hype died down after only a few months and it seems like she didn’t make a name for herself outside of being the voice on that one song with Bruno Mars.

Part of the problem is that Rosie just didn’t spawn any other hits. But even still, it’s like Rosé just stopped trying to promote the album not long after it came out. Ruby came out over a year ago and Jennie is still promoting it, which feels more in line with how western artists operate - i.e. spending 1-2 years on a promotional cycle. Jennie didn’t have any Apt-level hits on Ruby but she’s still promoting it hard.

Going completely radio silent worked for Blackpink but I don’t know that it’s gonna work for the girls as soloists, especially when they’re focusing their efforts on the US where they are small fish in a big pond. If you want to be a main pop girl then you need to work like a main pop girl. Rosé is letting herself become overshadowed by Apt.

Hopefully Rosé’s next album comes soon. I know it obviously takes time to create and put an album out, but if her team is smart they’ll understand they need to strike when the iron is hot…
