Question for all grillers and smokers?

What is the rule of thumb for rinsing meat after opening? I always rinse poultry, and ribs cuz its always pretty juicy, but always wonder if I should rinse beef (Ido)? Its usually pretty dry and looks good to go. What do y'all do?

How to clean xfire?

After several cooks, it is now time to clean my xfire... any pro tips? Videos? Are there any liners that would be good to aid in clean up, but not to hinder cooks?
