Is this crabgrass or something else? Zone 8A

I have a bunch of this stuff growing in one relatively small section of my yard where it is a bit shadier and more moist than the surrounding area. It looks a bit different from the crabgrass I’ve found in other parts of the yard which makes me think it’s something else. Almost like crabgrass had a baby with nutsedge.

Anyone know what is making this noise?

I picked up a somewhat older Sole F83 from Marketplace this weekend, and I noticed this high-pitched whir coming from the motor. Has anyone encountered this before? If so, how did you fix it?
