Instagram has gone to complete shit this month with the new algorithm. I'm not even mad about having to put the link in highlights but the quality of views is straight garbage now. Reels now either go viral but gain you extremely little followers, interactions and subs or get high interaction but little views. I'll post a reel and it will get 50k+ views (80% non followers) but only 500 likes, 10 comments and 5 follows which basically converts to 0 new subs. Then my next reel will only get 8k views (40% non followers) but 1k likes and 30 comments which results in basicly no subs since hardly any new people really saw it.

I have 52k followers on my main account I started a few months ago and up until the last couple weeks I was gaining 3-5k followers a week usually. I've only gained 2k followers in the last 2 weeks despite getting millions of views. Yesterday I had around 100k reel views across my 3 accounts yet only 7 new subs on OF. A month ago that would have been easily a 15+ sub day plus 1k new followers. Tiktok still gets lots of views and followers but has always converted horribly since you can't mention OF or put a link anywhere other than your Instagram. Basically all Instagram cares about now is Skip rate and keeping people watching reels instead of actually showing them to people who are interested in your content.

I've been using marketplace off and on for selling things for years and never had this problem till last week. I'm planning a move across the country so have been listing a few items a week for the last month or so trying to clear out my house. Everything was going well, successfully selling a couple items a week and marking them as sold. Getting positive reviews etc.

I had a couple listings from last month expire without being sold so I hit the delete and relist button like normal. I noticed I hadn't got a single message on any of the relisted items so I figured it was a glitch with relisting so I deleted them and made a fresh listing with new pics and info. Still nothing. I posted some new things last week as well. I checked from my phone and my husband's phone and none of the items relisted or listed after the 12th of this month show up on search, even when entering the exact title. They only show on my profile. I also noticed I recently got my first ever bad review from someone, literally a person who I never even responded to once left a 1 star review saying I was rude and nasty (even though I never responded to them once since they were being weird).

I've never had this issue before. On all my insta accounts, if I click insights on anything I posted today it shows nothing under followers vs non followers, skip rate etc. Even the graph that shows views over time is stuck at 0 even though I've gotten views.
