Oil pump replacement on gen 1.

Anyone done it themselves? Thinking about trying to limp some more miles out of my volt and quite confident the pump is blown. No metal in oil, ran minimally (less then 10 secs) after failure.

I have the service manual but trying to find someone who's actually done it to confirm if the sump needs to come off or if it can be done without removing that.

Cheap and dirty

We figure we'll have the pool for 3-5 years before the kids lose interest so didn't want to put money into one. Repurposed 2xs and some trees we had sitting about. Thought yall would appreciate the aneurism. Roughly 16x12.

When completed I will slap it and say "that's not going anywhere."

What brand is this?

Any one know what this is? Can't find info anywhere but I want to get some more of it.

Color matching?

What's your goto for color matching yarns after you know what image you want to create? I'm having a hard time getting palettes I like. I have hex codes for the colors I want but am looking for something to find comparable yarns and possibly even shift then if needed

Two swarm traps full... what now?

I have two forgotten about 5 frame swarm traps in my woods that I stuck in deer stands a couple years ago. out on a foray today I found they both have swarms. One is very active, lots and lots of bees in and around... that's the one in the photo. The other has just a few bees coming and going but is buzzing very loudly inside.

I really am not sure where to go from here but feel I should do something. I've done gotten rid of some of the bee stuff I inherited so would be doing whatever I do next from scratch.

Is it viable to move them? I only have 13 acres and I've heard if I move them I need to move them further than that or they don't reorient to their hive?

The 2nd trap succumbed to hive beetles quickly last summer when it caught a swarm without me realizing. I can get them in a much sunnier place where I would want the hives. Should I do that right away? Is the fact that it had beetles last year a set up for failure already(do they lie dormant?)

Basically is there a low fuss way to do this or....

Is it likely I could sell or trade for honey to a beek?
