Loneliest Road in America

Amazing trip earlier this summer from Bryce Canyon through Baker, Nevada, and the Loneliest Road in America, Route 50, to Reno. To make the trip even more memorable, I got stuck in Baker for a week with a car breakdown. I was captivated by the beauty of these long stretches of open roads between the steep grades of the mountains.

Senior Lifetime 2026

I was so, so very happy when I finally got my lifetime Senior pass this year at 70 years old! I was especially pleased that the photo was of this beautiful, majestic creature rather than a vain old man. I love our country so much, especially our beautiful parks.

Pleasantly stuck in Baker Nevada

I originally planned to stay two nights and visit the Great Basin Nat'l Park when my tow vehicle broke down. This is a very remote place but well visited because of the park. I was able to get here OK and order a new part with the help of a local mechanic. Everyone has been very helpful and hopefully I can get back on the road in a couple of days. I really have found the RV community to be the best!

My 10 YO Little Boy Jake

We are on our 6th annual RV trip - Jake's been to 45 states now and we have spent nearly one year on the road in total over the past 6 years. My little buddy and a great traveling companion. He's always looking for a way to keep cool!

Grand Canyon Helicopter Ride

Third trip here checked off bucket list Helicopter tour to add to my achievement to hike from the rim to the river in the 1990s. Only thing left is a rafting tour! Time is running out fast!
