3 across carseats in a BMW M5 touring?
We're getting a new car and the m5 touring (the station wagon) is the front runner. Currently we have two kids but are hoping for more in the future. Is it possible to fit 3 carseats into this car? And if so, which ones?
Based on the math it seems like there are a couple "slim" seats that will fit, however my understanding is that it's not strictly width but also things like placement of anchor points that will affect it.
We plan to have this car for about 3 years, and if family planning goes the way I want it to, about 1-1.5 of those years of possession would be with 3 kids. (Ie. A bucket seat infant, a rear facing toddler, a forward facing child). No one is tall so clearance behind the front seats isn't going to be a problem.
Also the rear bench is very angled, which my understanding is that it's fine to install carseats over, just annoying because you have to fill the gap with a rolled towel to make a solid base. Anyone do this? Is it difficult?
We'll be there 5 days before moving on to the south of france. So far neither of us really care much about paris, our plans this far are just the louvre and disney. We will recovering from the timezone change, so an area with things to do later in the day would be great. But again I dont have strong opinions or a bucket list of things to do in Paris, so anywhere is fine.
We have 2 kids age 2.5 and 9 months.
We're going to France in June for a conference, and will stay an extra 1-2 weeks or so and call it our summer holiday. We're in the planning phase of figuring out where we'll be and when, I've requested 1-2 days in Paris for the Louvre, but I'm generally not that interested in Paris otherwise. Main holiday will be south of France.
But is it worth it to do a day at disney? We're not disney nerds but I'm thinking the 2 year old will like it. Can we even go on rides with a toddler and a baby?
Anyone done it? what was it like? What were the highlights?
What about Parc Asterix?
