Anyone doing any volunteering anywhere or work experience?

After I slept in until 2 for most days last week, I'm deciding to no longer act like a bum and get my stuff together. My dad's going to ask at his job if I can do a bit of work there, but other than that I would like to do volunteering in my area but I literally have no idea where. Is anyone on the volunteering grind and could please help me out, I've done a lot of googling and searching but I really don't know how and where to volunteer as a 16 yr old.

if I remove someone from a group chat, can they still read all the previous messages?

like what does it look like for the person you've removed, I thought the groupchat would just disappear for them but apparently I'm wrong. sorry if this is a stupid question

Anyone upset that prom is over?

I had mine yesterday, and I just feel like it marks the very end of secondary school life 😔 I hugged and danced with so many girls and it was so fun to give random people you never spoke to compliments on their makeup or dress, idk from my experience it was really fun. I did find dancing embarrassing but you've got to remember you'll only ever have this experience once ig

idk I just find it sad I'll probably never see these people again and have this same experience..

What are your modern family ACTUAL hot takes?

Nothing like 'Jay had the best character development' or 'Cam was manipulative' but actually controversial takes

books about a teen with a dysfunctional family life?

preferably in a school setting, im 16 myself and im excited to get back into reading during the summer. i was obsessed with Jacqueline Wilson at the ripe age of 9 and read all of her books, which might be why I want to find more about teens living through a dysfunctional family or problems they struggle with themselves

and idek everytime I sit down to revise physics it bores the hell out of me, and I know I can do it because I'm getting 7s and 8s in chem and bio but a 4 in physics 🙄
