Favourite LMM short stories?

I have a bunch of collections of Lucy Maud Montgomery's short stories (ie, At the Altar, Along the Shore, Chronicles of Avonlea, etc). I'm not big on short stories in general, but I love Montgomery's writing and I want to give them a go! Do you have any favourite stories or collections of stories?

YA/middle grade book about a boy on a scavenger hunt from dead father and involves collecting rocks to remember moments in his life?

I remember reading a book that, in my mind, is kind of similar to Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, but I don't think it was because I was pretty young when I read it.

The story involves a young boy who I think is on scavenger-type hunt from his dead father. I remember the novel ends with him finding a box of rocks from his father, and each rock is from an important moment in his life (including when the protagonist was born, I think). Deals with grief. I also remember he really liked peanut butter sandwiches (and I think so much he thought his sweat smelled like peanut butter lol). Any leads are helpful. Thanks!

Do any of you actually watch anime??

I always see people freaking out over the potential ending/over episodes that "don't advance the plot" but this is just classic anime, especially a humour/slice of life, anime format. I have seen so many animes where the characters only get together in the final episode, sometimes even the final scene. This anime is a comedy, meaning yes, a lot of episodes are going to be funny, silly, and seemingly not develop too much. No, it's not filler: it's the genre!! It doesn't mean our boys won't get a happy ending :)

Plus, this story is *really* about Nakamura coming into himself and gaining confidence, something I would say progresses in *every* episode.

All this to say: relax and enjoy the ride!!

Show me your Anne/LMM collections!

I've found nearly all of these in thrift stores!

Are you like me and have a mismatched collection and multiple editions, or do you just have one edition? Which cover is your favourite?
