Best courier service in Gangtok?

Need to send a parcel from Gangtok and I know the delivery services here are 💩. Which one would you say is the best of the worst? I just need to get it sent somehow.
Also, do any of them provide proper packaging services for fragile items or do I need to get it packed myself?

Unexplained sweating and feeling unusually warm for 3 weeks

I am not asking for medical advice.
Hey guys! I’ve been sweating like crazy for about 3 weeks now and constantly feel this weird internal heat, like I’m generating heat from the inside ( I honestly don’t know how else to explain it). I live in a relatively cold climate so it’s definitely not the weather. I’ve been checked for a UTI, PCOS, etc. It’s not the flu, viral fever anything like that. My periods are regular but we still haven’t figured out what’s causing it. My doctors aren’t really sure either and honestly, it’s starting to freak me out.

Electricity Charges in Gangtok

How much are you all paying per unit of electricity in Gangtok? If you’re a landlord, how much do you charge your tenants per unit and how often do you increase the rate?

Treadmill for elderly parents

Hey! My parents are both in their early 60s and their doctors have advised them to walk every day and do some light workout . They’ve been very disciplined about it. The problem is that we live in Northeast India, where it rains for a good part of the year and then we get snowfall. Because of that, we’re thinking of buying a treadmill so they can continue walking indoors.

However, quite a few people have told me that treadmills can worsen knee pain. My mom already has Osteoarthritis so I’m a bit concerned.

Does it actually make knee pain worse? If a treadmill isn’t the best option, are there any alternatives you’d recommend?

Need advice

Hey guys, I’m in a bit of a dilemma and would really appreciate your advice.

My father and I have a very strained relationship because of his alcoholism. It has been absolute hell for my mom and me. The sad part is that when he’s sober, he’s one of the sweetest people you could meet but those moments are very rare.

Long story short, after years of fighting, pleading, and enduring a lot including instances where my mom and I were physically assaulted, we somehow managed to get him to stop drinking. He stayed sober for two months. During that time, I still didn’t really talk to him but I had started making small efforts like asking if he wanted tea. I had even bought him Father’s Day gifts.

Then, about a week before Father’s Day, he started drinking heavily again. When I confronted him (which I only do when things escalate between him and my mom because I feel the need to protect her), he said some incredibly hurtful things to me. It hurt so much that I just got up and left. I told my mom and I promised myself that I would never speak to him again.

Now, as of yesterday, my mom has somehow managed to stop him from drinking again by literally locking the main gate so he can’t go out and buy alcohol. He’s been sober for two days but honestly, I’m pretty sure he’ll start drinking again the moment he gets the chance.

So here’s my dilemma: I still have the Father’s Day gift I bought for him before all of this happened. Do I give it to him or do I return it?
