Found a shell, and made this display!! I love cicada shells, and I love cicadas in general. I am going to start a themed display collection for them, any other ideas?

FIRST WEEVIL POST!!! happy weevil Wednesday everyone!!

today I found a vine weevil (I think?) stuck underneath my glass tray dishrack (have no idea how or why he was there, if you have theories as to why please enlighten me) It was sooo cute though. He hung out with me for a bit as I finished up the dishes. He looked so very sad with his bent antennae :,( After I helped to relocate him outside, I went to check on him again like 5mins later and he was gone. Hopefully it’s having a weevilful Wednesday as well

Found this guy stuck in my window, in between two panes of glass on a screen. No idea how it even got there Saved him with a wooden spoon lol, and placed him on an outdoor planter

Colouring and antennae tells me it’s a katydid but very unsure because the pictures of katydid species local to me are only showing yellow eyes. Could it be a grasshopper? Any experienced IDer’s know the exact species of whatever it is? 📍 Southwestern Ontario
