M64 Pro Controller support for RetroTime N64

Edit: Just to be clear, this allows m64 pro controller wireless use with the RetroTime N64 on Analogue3D and probably OG N64

Spent last night adding support to RetroTime N64 for the M64 Pro Controller.

To install:

  1. Download the n64 firmware archive for your HW version from my GitHub release
  2. Open the BlueRetro OTA updater (This will also tell you your hw version)
  3. Select the N64 .bin file and update the adapter

I’ve only tested this on an HW1 N64 adapter. HW2 and other systems are untested.

If anything is wrong after updating, hold the adapter button for 30 seconds to restore the factory firmware. You can then update to the latest official release or the BlueRetroForever fork release (neither have M64 support).

More information, see the: BlueRetro wiki

I've opened as a PR on BlueRetroForever for more permanent home as I don't foresee myself supporting this outside of this one controller support.

And I'll be real mad if someone already did this, but let me know if I'm late to the party.

[TOMT][MOVIE][2000s OR EARLIER] American film, white lead trained by monks, forbidden to kill, weird throwing blades, rainy showdown

Looking for a live‑action Americ film (theatrical or TV) from the early 2000s or before. This would have aired on Fox, TBS, etc. my parents had the cheap cable so probably not HBO.

Key details I remember:

  • Protagonist is white and shown in flashbacks as a kid training with monks/other kids at an outdoor training area (overlooking a cliff I think)
  • They learn to use weird small curved throwing blades.
  • There’s a strict rule taught about not killing.
  • The protagonist becomes the top student/most skilled.
  • Big showdown late in the film: rainy fight with a rival/antagonist where the throwing blades are used.
  • Not supposed to kill the guy but does.
  • Walks away from dead guy and it shows the curved blade sticking out of his bald head. I think protag is bald too, but not sure
  • Atmosphere is moody/atmospheric, I want to think it was vibing off of the matrix

Any ideas?
