From Brazil: Google's AI said it is false. Is it correct?
I bought this model on... well... Mercado Livre. The price wasn't *that* low, though it was a good deal (30% off). What made me suspicious was the "Made in China" mark on the back. I looked it up and saw that Casio does indeed manufacture some models in that country. However, the AI told me there are strong signs it's a replica—such as potential text misalignment and the wrong module number on the back (A158 models should have number 3298, not 593, which is used on F91W models). That said, I performed the test where you hold down the right button, and "CASIo" appeared, just as it does on genuine models.
So, what do you think? Is it actually a replica?
P.s.: I'm Brazilian, and yes, there are fake Casios here. I don't know how common this is in other countries.
