Picked this guy up from Amazon, is this one legit or fake?

This was in my late mothers box of jewlery, and I don’t know much about it. It must be from before 2005 at least, but I’m guesing maybe 80’s. She wasn’t a watch person and if she bought it herself, she wouldn’t have spent a lot of money at the time, but it might have been a gift.

It’s obviously in bad shape, but I would just like to know more about it just because it was hers. If it’s real, I might want to have it fixed (if not too expensive).

Edit: The watch is very small, to the point that my thumb can almost cover the entire watch face. It does not turn on, but that was to be expected.

Edit 2: The battery is a 391, and it will be a bit of a wait to find one. Any tips on how to clean the watch safely and find a replacement strap are very appreciated!

Found a seller selling this 5610u at half the price as a 2nd hand. Claims to be 95% in good condition.

Was wondering if its real before I pull the trigger

My new F-91 just arrived today and I immediately spotted some details that tripped my replica alarm. I already sent a request for a refund, but just to be extra sure, I wanted to get some more opinions if these details seem off to someone else. Fakes are getting so good nowadays.

In the pics, here's what made me uneasy:

-big U beneath RESIST
-no >PUR< on strap
-really big CASIO on the buckle
-can't really see it, but no deep ridge on back plate, also a scratch on "made in thailand", plus, I was wondering if they are currently brushing backplates vertically
-small brighter bit on the bottom of the screen when lighting up screen, could be a rip inside?

I just received my new beautiful Casio A1000G-9JF. Unfortunately, even though it’s brand new in the box, the edge of the metal bracelet scuffed both sides of the surfaces and it’s very noticeable. Any suggestions? Serious inquiries only please, don’t give me: just deal with and learn to accept it. I take great care & pride in the stuff I own. Thank you :)

I just bought a bunch of my favorite watches on EBay (Japanese seller with tons of reviews). All flags are green with regards to authenticity. However, I’ve never seen the light bleed through the left side of the watch face. Multiple watches have this. Is this real, or a super good quality fake..?

I bought a Casio Edifice EFR-539SG-7AVUDF today from Myntra, seller shown as Flashtech Retail. I got it at a discount, so I wanted to verify if it is genuine.

The watch looks good physically: dial finishing, clasp engraving, bracelet, crown/pushers, and case-back engraving all seem okay to me. But when I tried registering it on the Casio India support website, it showed:

“Dear Customer, it seems the serial number you have entered is wrong.”

I tried entering the serial as printed on the watch, but it still failed.

Also, I don’t see a blue sticker on the back side. The watch has protective plastic on the bracelet/case, but not the blue case-back sticker I’ve seen in some videos/photos.

Can anyone please help confirm if this looks genuine or if I should return it? Is Casio India warranty registration failure common due to serial format/database issues, or is this a red flag?

Bought a 5600ue from Walmart but something seems off. When adjusting the day setting it switches to numbers that range from 00 to 99. What does that mean? I cant seem to get the button combo thing to work either or find a serial number. The watch display mount says "EL Backlight" too. Thanks!
