My first attempt - a book worm
I got the pillow made on wednesday and started with a pattern from a book I bought. My mother in law did bobbin lace and taught it for 20 years and handed me down her bobbins 🥰

Hey all,
I am being investigated for MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), and on a raft of anti histamines, nausea meds and anxiety meds for it while waiting for a specialist. Been too scared to eat anything while I figured out the dietary stuff. Been in and out of ER 3 times this week for severe panic attacks and vertigo, etc.
This morning I realized I don't think I have eaten more then 500cal a day for the last week due to this little hell storm. I checked my weight this morning and I have lost 10lbs in 8 days. Tested my bloods before I ate this morning because I realized I felt hypo and they were 6.4. I normally have a 8-9 reading in the mornings due to dawn phenomena thingy.
Is it possible to feel hypo when your bloods go back to optimal range?
Welp after a hellish few months, it's confirmed I have MCAS. It has a correlation to EDS, POTS and apparently autism. MCAS stands for mast cell activation syndrome.
The MCAS Reddit is intense and not geared to ND folks.
Wanted to see if fellow autists here live with this or have good resources? Especially since there's a bunch of EDSers in here too

Hello
New bobbin lace beginner here. My MIL is coming over soon and handing me down her bobbin lace tools. Everything except the pillow. I have the supplies to make my pillow, but I was wondering if there are any tips to choose what type of pillow?
My MIL had a circular pillow with a flat bottom. I've seen a variety in different YouTube videos. The bolster style seems the easiest to make and the most comfortable for how I will sit naturally.
Any tips on deciding what shape to use? Any benefits or drawbacks to the different styles?
Thanks x
