TVS Ronin booking delayed for 23+ days – Has TVS paused Ronin production?

Hi everyone,
I booked a TVS Ronin at TVS Dhiraa Motors, Ashok Pillar, Chennai and paid ₹5,000 as an advance on 22 July 2026. The showroom gave me a bill/receipt for the advance, but the receipt doesn't mention the bike name.
At the time of booking, the showroom told me the usual waiting period would be around 7 days, maximum 20 days.
It's now been 23+ days, and when I followed up, the salesperson told me that the bike build has not yet been started from TVS's side.
I'm confused about what to do now:
Has TVS actually paused/stopped Ronin production or dispatches?
Is anyone else who booked a Ronin recently facing the same delay?
Should I ask the showroom for a refund of my ₹5,000 and book directly through the TVS website instead?
Would really appreciate if anyone who recently bought/booked a Ronin can share their experience, especially regarding current waiting periods and production.
