• I have a 7'6" 3wt that I use for small trout in the mountains
• I have a 9' 6wt that I use for beach fishing, lakes, and larger rivers (mostly Nooksack/Skagit)

I'm looking for something that will open up new fisheries/species. I was leaning towards some type of spey setup for the Skagit, then got lost in the rabbit hole on switch, trout spey, one hand spey, lines, etc.

I requested to transfer my kid from Ferndale to Meridian due to much easier carpool logistics for my family. Meridian says they may not be able to approve/deny the request until August - they have to process in-district applications and capacity first. All good.

Anyone have experience with this process? I’m trying to understand the likelihood of acceptance/rejection.

This is for 2026-27 kindergarten enrollment.
