I had been tempted for a while by the audigo, with my main reservation being that it ties you into their ecosystem as it only allows you to record through their app, which limits a bit the way you can use it.
I started getting bombarded over the last week or so with ads for this Hisong Airstudio s1, which seems to solve that problem as it can connect as a normal mic to your computer/phone/daw, and also has neat built in monitor ear buds.
Does anyone have experience with the Hisong or preferably with both and could give an opinion? It’s a new product so I think there aren’t many user reviews of it out there yet. Most of what I’ve seen so far about the hisong are clearly paid ads other than one YouTube video which said its idea and form factor were cool but they didn’t like the sound of the mic very much.
I wanna use it mostly for vocals and acoustic guitar.
I was at the concert in Central Park yesterday and I saw Ryan throw a pick. It looked like it landed several feet in front of me, but then I looked down and this was right by my feet. The design doesn’t scream yellowcard to me so I’m wondering if it was just a big coincidence or if it’s actually the one Ryan threw.
I just got back from taking my dad to Iceland as his 60th birthday gift and this was a funny thing that happened to us during the trip.
We were driving into Varmahlíð pretty late at night when a bunch of people popped up in the middle of the road asking us to stop. They said they were students and had to take a creative photo for a contest, and they wanted to take it in our van. After taking the photo they all just sprinted away. I hope they won the contest!
