I caught my first top water fish!!
Was getting bit on plastics all day and they shut off so I decided to try something different and step out of my comfort zone. Boy am I glad I did.

The smallmouth in my area are so picky. I can go a few miles away and catch 10+ lmb in a few hours but I fished my river all day and only caught 5 of these. I'd still rather fish for these.
