Would killing rabbits in my garden be vegan?

Would killing rabbits in my garden be vegan?

I have a rabbit problem in my organic vegetable garden and they are eating all my flowers and veg! 😤

I don’t want to use any chemicals, and I’m currently taking a biodynamic gardening class. They are recommending killing the rabbits. I haven't tried any other rabbit deterrents yet, but killing them would be organic and biodynamic (which is the same as vegan)

Rabbits are really small, and I personally don't like them (and don't mind killing them!). They don't possess the capacity for emotional intelligence, and I have a right to protect my property from invasion. Any organic produce that vegans eat includes pest prevention (prevention always = killing!). So it would be vegan I believe. I also know lots of other vegans who kill garden rabbits

So what’s your thoughts? Is it vegan to kill rabbits in your garden?

Would that be any different than attracting wolves to my garden to eat the rabbits?

Some questions I’m trying to figure out. Would love your perspectives 🙏

Buff & Recoat??

Is a buff & recoat ever a possibility for minor wear? Or is it always necessary to fully refinish floors?

Neighbour feeding feral colony, zero are fixed

Our neighbour (70+m) feeds a bunch of feral cats, and there are no fences so the cats also sort of live on our property. There are LOTS of new kittens right now.

I want to TNR these cats to help, but I have no idea where to start (worried about how to trap them and then care for them post-op). I'm also afraid of upsetting my neighbour. And I'm worried about the cost (there are probably 10+ adults and many many kittens).

Would doing them one-by-one help make it easier? Or would they all see the first one get trapped and avoid being caught after that?

I don't have much experience with cats, but I have experience with the local vet and humane society (we have a small rescue dog, and we are both allergic to cats)

Rotating/Migrating Strawberries

Can someone help me understand how you're supposed to rotate your strawberry beds without pulling them out and starting fresh every few years? I've heard some people train the runners to go one bed over.?

I'd really like to understand this method before I choose a location to plant!

We did a one-window test to see if low-expansion foam would cause the tape to bow out, and it did.

The only options we can think of are to either install the exterior window trim before foam, or to stuff around the windows with rockwool (which is what the rest of the house is insulated with).

We're going to try another test holding the can farther back, but I'm not hopeful

Does anyone have a recommendation?

We're aiming for high performance, not seeking passive house certification.
