2001 Renault Twingo D7F Engine Sound (manual, 120000km)
My Renault Twingos Engine is making a clacking sound while idling, that you can mainly hear when you're standing in front of the car. (you can hear it in the first 5 sec of the video)
It's not noticeable when driving and doesn't get louder with rpm. Some days it's more noisy and other days it's barely noticeable. Also it doesn't really depend on the engine temperature, I once heard it after taking a 100km road trip.
Any ideas what it could be or how to narrow it down to a component? I'm good with tools and have worked on motorcycle engines before:)
