The past couple years of uni-watch.com is one of the stranger for any media property i can remember.

- Paul's retirement coincides with a reader funded cross country celebration of his tenure.

- The site shuts down and nukes any evidence of the 20 years of content.

- The empty website is put up for sale with a contingency that its new owner pay Phil full time with benefits to write for it.

- Paul reveals the web developer died and he has know idea how to access the back end. Paul seems to think it's 1994 and only a highly specialized programmer could create and maintain a website.

- Paul is now updating the site on a daily basis and reviving merchandising efforts. Phil has not written a word in any format since the site shut down.

I find it kind of fascinating to be honest. The curse of the Tugboat Captain?

Bill's Dad is 80 and still lives and breathes every game involving his four teams....have you ever met anyone like that?

In my actual life, I've never met anyone remotely close to Bill's Dad's age who lived and died with all four major sport team. Especially senior citizens, you tend to give less a shit about the ins and outs of every season.
